Donna McColl, the co-creator of Happy Feet Fitness, won the 2013 Telstra Woman’s Business Awards for WA Business Owner.
Together with her husband Cam, the Secret Harbour duo have been taking the nation by storm with their children’s fitness program.
The couple launched Happy feet into recreation and childcare centres five years ago and have since seen their business grow to be teaching over 6500 children a week in Western Australia, Victoria, and Queensland.
During her acceptance speech, Mrs McColl thanked her husband and the Happy Feet team. “I was inspired to make a difference in young children’s health and believe Happy Feet Fitness is doing exactly that.
Healthy eating and physical activity are core motivators of the program. Happy Feet entertains, inspires and encourages children to make positive healthy choices”, she said.
Happy Feet Fitness would like to thank Telstra for making these awards possible and creating a platform for women in business to be recognized for their achievements.
